My academic and professional background has provided me with a vast knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe CS4, Video Editing Software (iMovie HD, Final Cut Pro), HTML, Basic Java, typing, and elementary Italian. In addition, I’m also a excellent at public speaking and multi-tasking.
Aside from the basics, I’ve spent the past four years of my professional life recruiting and managing volunteers, overseeing logistics of various events, and utilizing all marketing schemes available to promote both the organization and upcoming programs. I’m well versed and have extensive experience/training in the following areas:
- Utilizing Facebook to recruit volunteers, promote events, and market our brand
- Sending daily updates to volunteers via Twitter
- Blogging for professional organizations
- Compiling monthly eNewsletters for the public
- Managing and coordinating travel arrangements for elite volunteers and staff
- Overseeing meeting budgets and overall accounts for my department
- Training and communicating with volunteers and staff via virtual webinar and teleconferencing software
